Back in 2012, I attended a convention and made a purchase at a booth. I brought my items up to the booth attendant; she pulled out her phone and I observed a little square device plugged in to the headphone jack which she then proceeded to slide my credit card through. It was mind-blowing to me at the time to be able to pay with card using your phone! This was my very first encounter with Square.
Fast forward to 2019: mobile credit card readers have become prevalent in society today and Square, Inc. is a top player in the mobile payment processing industry. Square is definitely revolutionary and is trusted by more than 2 million business owners worldwide. I’ve used tens of different Point of Sale systems at quick-service restaurants and I have to say Square’s is the cleanest, most responsive, and easiest to use. Working with their APIs and SDKs for KioskBuddy has also been a great experience so far. Square excels in their offerings so it’s a no-brainer why we chose to integrate our self-service kiosk with Square!
